Must be at least 21 years of age. Bachelor’s degree required. Must show proof. Proven experience in program management, volunteer coordination, or staff supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills like public speaking and presentations. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data management. Preferred: Previous AmeriCorps member experience or in a similar national service program. Knowledge of federal grant requirements and reporting. Experience in a non-profit or community-based organization. Must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid/CPR. Must submit health history record and examination form prior to first day of work. A minimum of two (2) years of related experience which may include, but need not be limited to, developing place-based experiences, service learning projects, in-classroom workforce development experiences, worksite development, providing career coaching and counseling, event planning, and working in the field of education and youth workforce development. Academic background in Communications, Youth Development, Workforce Development, Public Health, Environmental Health, and/or a related field. Life experience in and passion for the outdoors a MUST.
