Concrete Safaris is seeking experienced professionals to join our board of directors. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Concrete Safaris’ mission and who has a track record of leadership in business, government, philanthropy, or the non-profit sector. We work with 7-24-year-olds in East Harlem who learn how to alter the physical world around them by navigating New York City’s infrastructure, becoming confident, experienced, effective leaders at an early age, committed to their health and environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance in a constructive,meaningful, measurable way

Devote time and resources to support the work of Concrete Safaris

Requirements

Attend board meetings (6-8 per year)

Raise or donate a minimum of $5,000 per year

Make a two-year commitment to board service
