Concrete Safaris Junior Board

Establishing a Junior Board will bring new ideas and enthusiastic individuals into the Concrete Safaris family

Purpose:

-The purpose of the Concrete Safaris Junior Board is to make new connections in the local community and lead fundraising and community service events

-The Jr. Board is expected to operate independently from the organization’s existing board and be represented at the 6 CS Board of Directors meetings each year

- The Jr. Board will evaluate members’ strengths and skillsets to generate optimal impact

Membership:

-A maximum of 15 open seats for members across a variety of professional organizations

-Each member who is recruited will be selected for specific skill sets that may include (but are not limited to):

a. Fundraising

b. Marketing

c. Event Planning

d. Communications

e. Service

f. Social Media

Fundraising:

-A $1,000 yearly give/get will be expected for each member

-Plan and execute 2 fundraising events per year

Support & Service:

-Lead projects, committees, and community outreach efforts inspired and executed by Jr. Board members

-Complete 10 service hours per year through any of the 4 existing Concrete Safari programs
