Events Task Force Inquiry Form
Concrete Safaris is seeking experienced professionals to join our events task force. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about Concrete Safaris’ mission and who has a track record of leadership in event design and delivery from concept to final product. We work with 7-24-year-olds in East Harlem who learn how to alter the physical world around them by navigating New York City’s infrastructure, becoming confident, experienced, effective leaders at an early age, committed to their health and environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Creating a comprehensive event plan including goals/desired outcomes and theme of the event
Creating and agreeing on a comprehensive funding plan, inclusive of all estimated expenses of the sub-committees
Communicating regularly on the progress of the sub-committees
Approving all sub-committee decisions, i.e. program, food, marketing plan
Determining how to solicit/raise additional funds if needed
Setting ticket cost and process
Supporting sub-committees
Being available at all times during the day of the event
Participating completely during the event
Event evaluation and follow up
Requirements
Attend event task force meetings
Contribute in a meaningful way towards meeting event goals
Make a two-year commitment to task force service
