Position Purpose: Quantitative Analyst Volunteers assist outside experts with program and organizational evaluations. Gain valuable experience working with leading pediatric/built environment researchers in this evaluation of our east Harlem based non-profit organization.

Essential Role Functions:

1. Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of qualitative and quantitative evaluation and data analysis.
{{item}}
2. Develop a final report on findings.
{{item}}
3. Be a role model to participants and staff in your attitude and your behavior. Follow and uphold all safety and security rules and procedures. Set a good example to participants and others regard to general after school procedures and practices including sanitation, schedule and sportsmanship.

4. Represent the organization when interacting with parents or community members. Provide parent appropriate feedback and information as needed for their children to have a successful experience. Follow safety and security protocols when participants are in public or in public or indoor facilities while presenting a positive image of the organization.

Attend and participate in outside groups and committees as assigned.

Relationships: the Qualitative Analyst Volunteer has direct relationships with all staff and is expected to set-up and clean up their work areas each day.

Equipment used: Computers, cell phone, writing instrument, paper, notebooks, scales. Competence in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Qualifications (minimum qualifications and experience):
{{item}}
Must be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate or graduate program requiring high-level mathematical reasoning and skill.
{{item}}
Must be proficient in Excel.
{{item}}
GIS proficiency a plus.
{{item}}
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
{{item}}
